Polish youth organization «New Generation of Chicago», focused on the national armed forces, held an information campaign during the reconstruction of the World War II fighting in the city of Rockford, Illinois, telling the Americans and Polish natives of the UPA crimes against the Poles in Volyn in 1943. In this war reconstruction, there were several immigrants from western Ukraine, who wanted to take part in the action wearing the uniform of UPA militants.
Polish activists were dressed in «Anti-UPA» T-shirts with the crossed image of a terrorist Stepan Bandera. They communicated with the participants of reconstruction and distributed leaflets about the UPA crimes in Volyn in 1943.
